EU-Ukraine Drone Alliance holds its first board meeting
The Brussels meeting follows July’s launch. WB Group is among the 18 founding members.

- First board: 11 September
- 18 members · drones and counter-drones
The European Commission’s audiovisual record dates the first board meeting of the EU-Ukraine Drone Alliance to 11 September 2026 in Brussels. It records opening remarks by Defence and Space Commissioner Andrius Kubilius.
The alliance launched in July with nine EU-based and nine Ukrainian founding members. The Commission’s list includes WB Electronics/WB Group, Quantum Systems, Skyfall Industries and Tencore. Its stated aim is closer industrial cooperation on drones and counter-drone systems.
For smaller suppliers, the list offers a starting point for identifying potential partners. Membership and a board meeting are not purchase orders. Our suggestion is to approach a relevant member with a defined component or integration offer, rather than treat the alliance as a grant competition.
