DRONTEX 2026 is scheduled for 14-15 October in Piešťany, Slovakia. The conference describes itself as a meeting point for unmanned-technology specialists and institutions from the V4 region. English and Slovak are the announced conference languages, with simultaneous interpretation.
The current programme goes beyond aircraft displays. It includes airspace management, U-space implementation, civil-military data integration, training and cybersecurity. These subjects are relevant to companies trying to turn a drone or component into a usable service.
The first day is listed at Elektrárňa Piešťany and the second at Hotel Esplanade. The programme remains subject to change. Visitors should check the venue for their particular session rather than assuming both days take place in one building.
Access is not identical for every session
A workshop on Ukrainian experience is explicitly marked invite-only. Buying a conference ticket should therefore not be presented as guaranteed entry to that workshop. Other listed workshops address funding routes and cybersecurity.
The funding session includes perspectives on EU and NATO support. It is a discussion of opportunities, not a grant award or a substitute for the relevant programme documents. Companies should bring a defined stage of development and a clear question about eligibility.
Why it matters for regional suppliers
Our assessment is that the event is particularly relevant where technical capability meets an operational or regulatory constraint. Airspace access, data integration and support arrangements can determine whether a product becomes a repeatable service.
Polish and Ukrainian suppliers can use the published speaker and partner lists to identify relevant conversations. Registration is linked from the official homepage; check the latest agenda and any separate invitations before booking a session-specific visit.
