Poland’s EdgeX Robotics among six BraveTech EU teams
The next stage centres on experiments with military users, including work alongside EU OPEX in Portugal.

In July, the European Defence Agency named six companies selected for BraveTech EU Phase II. They include Poland’s EdgeX Robotics, described by EDA as developing a modular 4x4 unmanned ground vehicle.
EDA says the teams will develop and test solutions in realistic conditions alongside EU OPEX in Portugal. Four of the most advanced technologies are to continue experimentation in 2027. The initiative brings EU and Ukrainian experience into technology development.
Selection gives a company access to an organised testing process. It should not be read as certification or an order. For prospective partners, our next question would be what the experiments establish about repeatability, operator workload and support needs.
