AIRTEC brings aerospace, defence and counter-drone suppliers together in Augsburg

The 20-22 October event combines three industrial agendas. Its B2B rules make exhibiting and visiting different commercial propositions.

AIRTEC, DefenceTec and Counter-UAS take place together in Augsburg on 20-22 October 2026. For a supplier working across civil and military markets, the value is the overlap: aerospace components, unmanned systems and defence buyers in one event.

The organiser positions AIRTEC around supply chains, exhibitions, conferences and targeted meetings. Its 2026 material connects aviation and space with AI, drones and counter-drone technology.

The practical distinction is access to the structured sales meetings. An ordinary visit and an exhibitor booking do not provide the same role in the B2B process.

The B2B rule that changes the decision

According to the organiser, only exhibitors may participate as vendors of their products in the B2B meetings. The other side includes procurement, supply-chain and technology managers. That is a material condition for a smaller company deciding whether to buy a visitor ticket or exhibit.

Participants describe what they offer or seek through a shared keyword structure. Meetings are requested and accepted or declined, then held on site in 30-minute slots. The commercial task starts with a clear supplier profile, before the exhibition floor opens.

Where dual-use suppliers fit

Components, software and production capabilities can serve more than one application. Our reading of the combined event is that a supplier should identify the specific integration problem it solves: a sensor, communication interface, manufacturing process or test service.

That is stronger than presenting a broad claim to work in aerospace and defence. A focused offer gives a technical buyer something to evaluate and makes it easier to choose the right meetings. The organiser’s meeting system is a contact mechanism; buyers still make their own purchasing decisions.

Plan against the 2026 edition

The official site provides a ticket page, exhibitor information and a 2026 speaker list. It also retains material from previous editions. Use the current dated programme when arranging meetings rather than assuming a name or session from 2025 carries over.

For the MSSG calendar, the three co-located areas are one Augsburg entry covering 20-22 October. The ticket and B2B links below lead to the organiser’s own pages. No booking or registration is made through MSSG News.
