Your mission

As our IT administrator you maintain and administer our IT infrastructure, including endpoint devices, networks, servers, cloud services (e.g. Microsoft 365) and internal applications. 
You are the first point of contact for employees' IT support requests and resolve issues promptly or escalate them to external service providers. 
You manage user accounts, access rights, and employee onboarding and offboarding, including hardware issuance and return. 
You evaluate, procure, and manage software licenses and hardware while keeping an eye on the IT budget. You maintain and document the IT landscape, create policies for the use of IT resources, and ensure compliance with them. 
You plan and implement IT projects, such as office moves, new office locations, system migrations, or the introduction of new tools. 
You work closely with the CISO to implement security requirements in day-to-day IT practice, for example in patch management, backups, and access control concepts. You select and manage external IT service providers and vendor.

Your profile

You have completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification. 
You have several years of experience in IT administration, ideally at a growing tech company or startup. 
You are well versed in common cloud platforms, network technology, and endpoint management. 
You work in a structured, solution-oriented way and keep track of things even when handling multiple requests at once. 
You communicate clearly and understandably, including with colleagues who are less tech-savvy. 
You are fluent in German and have good English skills.

Nice to have

Experience with ITIL processes, certifications such as CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft certifications, as well as initial exposure to information security are an advantage but not a requirement. Familiarity with IETF, IEEE, or NATO STANAG communication standards, particularly in a defense or dual-use context.
